MY LOST LOVE
It was the last time I loved her.
Just as the leaves, one day wither
We parted away from each other,
That left my heart alone to bother.
She was soft as peacock’s feather
And as nice as baby soap’s lather,
Even caring as my good mother,
But all that is now over forever.
So many times we met, to gather
Our thoughts and share it together.
It doesn’t go from here any further
Is that all mind needs to remember.
I caressed her as her own father,
Got lovely gifts as her kind brother.
As she went from me too farther,
I feel, for her, I was just another.
My heart would always care for her
Not just today, but everyday - forever.
I wish, one day, she'd come to me
And tell me “Oh dear, I love thee.
