My dear Friend

I’ve a friend who troubles me a lot;
So much that I’ve had my blood clot.
Too many things has she taught
And has made my brain feel hot.

Time after time we have always fought
With each other and have brought -
Storms and whirlwinds on the spot;
And end up untying the friendship knot.

Yet time and again she has bought;
Gifts for me, to realize that she’s got
Lots of love and has made me jot
Into my heart ‘Dear - Forget Me Not’
